Well, that’s how it can feel when someone spams you! (Or you spam someone else!)
Did you know that SPAM is also referred to as Unsolicited Commercial Email?
The keyword for this webinar is UNSOLICITED. Merriam-Webster defines solicit as, simply put, “ask for or try to obtain (something) from someone.” So, unsolicited simply means not asked for.
When you engaged in a social media conversation, did YOU ask for something from the other person? Or did THEY ask for something? NO? Then bringing up a product or program you or they use is okay. But, intentionally trying to sell it to the other is not.
It can get even worse… What happens when someone tries to cram something down your throat? They keep pushing and pushing, throwing affiliate links at you over and over again. Until you feel like you want to puke!
