So what does branding have to do with making sales and sign ups?

As an affiliate you will be promoting several sites/programs in your business lifetime. The one thing that stays constant is YOU. So you need to establish YOU as your brand. You are your biggest Unique Sales Point. That is, A feature that the you hope will convince others to buy/sign up from you instead of someone else.

First you get your face and name out there to be seen everywhere that you can. Then, as people become more familiar with it, they are more willing to accept you as someone familiar. Then when they DO sign up or buy from you, the way you treat them becomes part of your brand.

This is where the terms “know, like, and trust” come into play. These are incorporated into your brand as people come to you for assistance and your advice. Again, the way you treat your subscribers to your list is/becomes part of your brand.
