So what is a great deal at a traffic exchange? (Or mailer, too.)
Well, you’ll never know unless you do some research. You need to get an idea of what exchanges generally sell their ad products for. Whether it’s for just one site or many, you need to get a “feel” for the prices.
You also need to figure out the worth of those products to you. If you’re not getting results at a site, there’s no amount of ad products, whether they’re credits or impressions or an upgrade, worth your money! This is where the research comes in — In the form of tracking.
You also need to get an idea of how much time or effort it would take you to earn the equivalent of that product if you didn’t purchase it. What’s your time and effort worth to you?
