Today, February 6, Saturday, Take Time Out

Kinda obvious what this is all about, huh? Well, this is actually a two-edged sword of a topic. However, both edges are about getting away from your normal schedule of tasks.

The first is for cutting out time to get away from your business. Give yourself a rest. Stretch your legs. Give your butt a rest. Get up and move around. Go outdoors. (Weather permitting!) Take a vacation – whether it’s for a day or a week.

The second edge is for cutting away time to grow your business. Learn something new to help you promote or manage your business. Spend some time developing a new project. Learn a new skill.

Today, January 9, Saturday, Fighting Off the Ho-Hums

Being an online affiliate/business owner isn’t always sweet times and commissions. Sometimes you get peaks, sometimes valleys. What do you do during those slumpy valleys?

Well, first it helps to have an anchor point. That’s what keeps you anchored — Your daily work routine. Having a daily “production” routine of positive steps forward helps keep you moving and feeling like you’ve accomplished something when things get slow.
