Working as an affiliate or internet marketer, a piece of your business is about multiple streams of income. So, obviously, you need to join more than just one site to make those streams of income.

That’s your main reason WHY you join many of the traffic exchanges and/or mailers. In fact, according to Marci, “there’s a WHY for everything you do online.” Each join should be to provide more income and/or more traffic to make more income. Or, as I posted, the answer to “Why” you joined a site should be “biz-cuz”! 😉

What do you do for YOUR business?

In order for your business to work, you have to work. Daily, weekly, etc. You need your own system for running your business. And within that system, you have processes full of tasks to complete in order to reach your aims and goals for your business results.

What makes you consistent is how well you do those series of tasks (processes) on a regular basis. If you have complete and doable processes, then you can be consistent. If not, then you need to refine those processes so that you can repeat them over and over and over… Then DO them over and over and over…

Set & Forget, Oops!

How evergreen and relevant are they? Sure, evergreen products may always be relevant but is the information that you use to promote them? Did you mention the owner? Are they still the owner? The member count – Changed, hasn’t it?

Using a rotator for your splash/squeeze pages? When is the last time that you checked to see which programs you’re promoting? Are they all still in existence? Not all sites last forever! And wasn’t there some special ads at some of those sites? When is the last time you checked them? What are you promoting there?

Today Marci discussed style. That is, what sets you apart from others? What makes you sound and look like YOU? Are there certain words or phrases YOU use? Certain ways that you talk?

Well, make sure to write your emails to your subscribers like you were talking to them. Let them see/hear YOUR style! Help them get to know you. Don’t think you can get it across? You can always record videos and send them the URLs. Like “Hey, I just made a video about… and I thought it might help you…”

Got the answer for somebody’s problem? Used it often? Then you may already be an expert. It also depends on the experience level of who you hang out with. No matter how new you are to this business, there’s always someone newer.

They could be in your downline(s) or in your LIST! You ARE mailing content to help your subscribers aren’t you? It’s not just about getting them to buy from you. Part of the relationship you have with them is about you helping them.

Don’t feel like an expert? Stop and think about what you’ve done or said for others. Or ask your online friends – what do they think you’re an expert in? Often it’s easier for them to see.
