Today, August 25th, Marci explained what an autoresponder is and how it saves you time with building and managing your list. She went over briefly a few of the autoresponders and some of their features and benefits.
Several specific questions about lists and autoresponders were answered during the seminar, rather than at the end like we normally do. (Questions at the end of the seminar are usually trimmed out of the recordings to save space and time. If you want to get YOUR specific questions answered about a topic, then just drop on by next time and ask!)
Saturday, August 18th. Guess what? It was time to go back to the basics. There is no better time than the present to recap your knowledge! Marci went back to the start and covered the Affiliate Funnel Basics today.
Unfortunately, the recording software stuck and the recording files became unusable.
(We hope to go into more depth in these soon. Check back next week.)
This Saturday (August 11th) Marci talked about about micro blogging and what it is and how to set up the social network integration for it. She included Do’s and Don’ts and tips on how to keep a good balance of content without being spammy.
We all know that having a blog is an incredibly powerful thing. But your blog has to be found!
Google loves blogs – and yours is likely in their index. But it needs to come up for the things people search for!!
Saturday, August 4th, Marci showed exactly how to make sure your blog appears when people search…
At Saturday’s (July 27) free webinar, Marci showed us how to do and know more than 95% of the bloggers out there. It’s not hard, it’s just knowing the right tools for the job.
She showed how to measure traffic demographics (e.g. where are your visitors from, where did they come to your blog from?) and what plug-ins to use to do it.
Unfortunately, due to technical problems, this recording was unrecoverable.
A blog isn’t for everyone but there are many that want a blog but are too intimidated to try.
Saturday the 21st, Marci demystified one of the things that frightens people more than almost anything else – having their own blog. She went over some must-have plugins and added some tips and tricks to make it easier and more profitable. Together with some screen shots she showed us how to install a WordPress blog three different ways.
Saturday the 14th Troy went over a couple topics. The first was the new enhancements to ViramMailProfits. He went over the auto-copy and paste and the autosend just added this past week.
The majority of the time was spent going over the recent and continuing testing of the comparative surveys in Affiliate Funnel. (Comparative meaning deciding between 2 TEs or 2 mailers, which is better.) We had a lively and eye opening discussion about who votes and why, the usefulness of ranks 1 and 10 in the current ranking, and why and how the current ranking system is now not giving the desired results that people are looking for.
Several of the attendees expressed their concerns, opinions, and suggestions.
This Saturday Marci went over the need for practice with your online skills. Most online ‘skills’ don’t take months or years to learn. But if you pick something up, try it once and then move on, you won’t make that skill a habit. Marci stressed the need to not only do something often enough that you can do it efficiently without needing to stop and think about it, but to also hone those skills by trial and error.
At today’s webinar (Saturday the 30th) Marci discussed “The Isolation Trap”.
Working alone, from home (even if only part-time) has implications. There are plenty of benefits of course! But there are also things to watch out for when working from “home alone”! Through her own experience(s) Marci walked us through some of the blind spots.
