Making Autoresponders a vital part of your business!

Today, April 20th, Marci talked about integrating autoresponders into your business. One of her major points was YOUR writing attitude. That is, how do you come across in your email series to your subscribers. This will set the tone of your style that the subscribers will perceive. You must be focused on the wants and needs of the subscribers, that is, their goals, and not yours.

Marci gave some examples of the style and then some time was spent discussing the merits and disadvantages of different brands of autoresponders and the free versus paid brands. Also, a few questions came up during the meeting that were discussed.

Avoiding Common Mistakes!

Today, March 23rd, Marci talked about the pitfalls of having so many choices online. She went over, in detail, a few of the common mistakes, such as program-jumping (what I refer to as opp-hopping) and trying to promote too many things at once.

We also gave out the prizes left over from last week’s St. Patrick’s Day (and early birthday for Marci) Party. Want to see who won and what they won? (And what you missed out on!) Check out the Affiliate Funnel Forum! Or you can see the post in FaceBook under Affiliate Funnel.

Doing Social the Right way

Today, March 9, Marci discussed the Dos and Don’ts of social marketing. This boiled down to two (2) major issues. DO show genuine interest and courtesy and build a relationship built on common interest and rapport. and DON’T try to sell straight to them, leading conversations to your agenda and ignoring the direction of the conversation(s).

She also described how to meet network contacts by attending online events, watching the flow of the participants, and engaging in the chats going on there.

Everyone wants to build business around products and services that are here today and will be here tomorrow. Why are these products and services Evergreen? Because they are practical, useful, and always a valuable tool to have for any IM business. Autoresponders, trackers, hosting… There are lots of evergreen products/services that you can promote and earn commissions on a regular basis because they will always be needed. Other evergreen products? listen to the recording! 🙂

Mastering Safelists

Today, Marci followed up last week’s Viral Mail Profits tutorial by talking about safelist basics. This included creating high converting emails from the subject line to the actual email content. She also discussed how to organize your time while earning mailing credits.

Since there were a few people pretty new to email marketing, she also explained the definitions and differences between safelists and viral mailers. Lots of questions were answered immediately and are included in the recording this time.

(We normally try to save them for after her topic so they often aren’t included in the recording. Recordings hog a lot of space in the site so we try to keep them trimmed as much as possible.)

Leveraging Viral Mail Profits

Saturday, Feb 9th, Marci showed a presentation on using Viral Mail Profits (VMP). She went through adding a mailer and setting up the category, subject, and mail templates. She also showed how you incorporate the VVP tracking with VMP.

The Question/Answer period was included in the seminar so it could be included in the recording. Which includes a video this time for your extra help! (You will need to expand the video image as it was recorded as the whole conference room screen.)

You can access the video version here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o2cwfXTy0-4&feature=youtu.be

In order to view it fairly well, you’ll need to click on the [] located in the lower right corner of the youtube screen.
