Do You Love What You Do?

Today, Saturday February 15th, Do You Love What You Do?

Do you love getting up in the morning and hop-skip-and-jumping to work? Say to yourself “What a great day” before getting to it?

Well, if you’re working at home on the internet, there’s no Jerk Boss. There’s no co-worker that you don’t get along with that you can’t walk away from. In fact, you can actually CHOOSE your job. And you can choose what way you want to do it.

You can choose what you promote and how you promote. You can choose what you sell and how you sell it. You can choose to be an affiliate or choose to create your own product and get others to help you sell it as YOUR affiliates.

Here on the internet the choices are all yours. So if you don’t enjoy what you’re doing, you can reevalutate what you are doing. Then do something else you love doing more and choose the venue that fits you.

Want to know more? Want to pick up those great little gold nuggets…

Then come and listen to the rest for more details…

Don’t Fight the Upgrade!

Today, Saturday February 8th, Don’t Fight the Upgrade!

Free is nice, free works – some. But, face it, no business makes money if everything is free. Sooner or later, if you want your downlines to upgrade, then you’ll need to upgrade. If they upgrade before you do, then you get commissions as a free member – smaller commissions.

But where do you upgrade first? Where are you getting results? Where are your credits moving steadily? Where are you getting more referrals? Keeping more referrals? A healthy traffic exchange where your referrals like to surf and get results from surfing, that’s where. (Or safelist/mailer if you lean more toward mail marketing.)

Then upgrade! It’s hard to convince your referrals to upgrade if you aren’t enjoying the extra benefits of being upgraded. Share with them the extras that you’re getting as an upgraded member and what it’s doing for you.

Not budgeting for upgrades? If you’re serious about your business, then you should be. Once you are making some commissions as a free member, then it’s time to invest at least some of the commissions back into your business – as upgrades. If you are spending all your commissions on your lifestyle, then you aren’t using them to build your business. You don’t want to keep on earning small percentages, do you? Upgrading brings larger commissions which builds your business.

Want to know more? Want to pick up those great little gold nuggets…

Then come and listen to the rest for more details…

Fix Your Follow-Up!

Today, Saturday February 1st, Fix Your Follow-Up!

Marci started right off with the 2 Key points of follow-up emails: Presentation and Delivery.

Presentation:

Don’t crowd everything into a few large paragraphs. Set the paragraphs apart with headers and a little space. Use a font and size that’s comfortable to read online.

No fonts with seriphs on them (short lines at the end of the main strokes of a character). Stick with fonts like Arial, Verdana, Tahoma, etc. The most comfortable size to use would be between 14-15 points (pixels) for online reading.

Delivery:

Be professional and courteous — Slang may be okay, but avoid strong swear words. (You know — the “F” word and others like it.) It’s also usually best to not use a hard sell approach. You’re setting up a relationship with your subscribers – don’t push too hard or you won’t have a chance to build that relationship.

Post scripts are usually best used for selling — Soft selling!

One of the last things Marci covered was “Watch your email statistics!” You can see if you get unsubscribes after each email. IF you get a bunch of unsubscribes after a particular email, then there is definitely something in it repelling your subscribers!

What’s Your Focus?

Today, Saturday January 25th, What’s Your Focus?

It seems that Marci is always emphasizing what you are selling. Well, why not? Unless you’re giving away everything and making NOTHING, then sales is the name of the game! But are you comfortable selling? Probably not! Most people aren’t. And it’s hard to focus when you’re not comfortable. YOu’re going to drop back into your comfort zone and lose focus!

But if you enjoy a product, then it’s so much easy to tell others why you like it and what it does for you. That’s how word of mouth works and that’s how you can tell others about the product or service that you want THEM to purchase or use. Whether you are mailing to your list or to your mailer audience, it’s so much easier to treat them like friends and just “talk to them”.

The key point Marci made was “Focus on what you’re comfortable to advertise and focus on what your audience wants” and you can maintain your focus.

Funnels to Go!

Today, Saturday January 18th, Funnels to Go!

Today Marci talked about Funnels to Go and how to use them. She talked about all the different funnels to go that are currently available, and how they can help you target your business growth in one or two directions instead of all over the place.

Just one or two directions? How about one for mailers and/or one for traffic exchanges? Each what Marci referred to as “time release traffic”. We have some of both in there. And all while branding yourself with your name and photo on the viral bar. So you can build or augment YOUR business!

Go FAQ Yourself!

Today, Saturday January 11th, Go FAQ Yourself!

Well, Marci certainly had a BIG list of FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions, for anyone who possibly doesn’t understand the acronym, or forgot what it means!)

The questions started with How to build your list? and How to grow my list? They also included the topic of autoresponders. One in particular was How to link AF with my autoresponder?

That answer was simple enough. Marci explained where you find the form in the Affiliate Toolbox area where you put your autoresponder raw HTML code. So that you can build a list for YOUR Affiliate Funnel business. After all, if you choose to build a business based on web traffic, it’s a very popular commodity! (Did you know that there are several examples of raw HTML forms that you can use for AF located in the List Ad FAQ in Tezak Traffic Power?)

Otherwise, a lot of the questions Marci was working from were connected to each other. So it would be hard to give a quick little summary in here. So go listen to what you missed!

What’s Your New Year’s Resolution?

Today, Saturday January 4th, What’s Your New Year’s Resolution?

So what’s YOUR New Year’s Resolution? Will you keep it? Today Marci explained the goal aspects of a resolution. If it’s not realistic, then you can’t really expect to keep it! And you can’t just say “I’m going to do this”. You have to have a master plan to achieve the goal of your resolution.

If it’s a long term goal – something you can’t just complete in an hour or a day or maybe a week, then you’re going to have to plan. That also means breaking down the big plan down into manageable pieces or steps. And that means having some way to figure out if you’re still on track with achieving that goal for your resolution.

Of course, Marci when into more detail than that. And she also asked for our resolutions, questions, and/or comments. So come and check it out! There’s LOTS of great info and a little entertainment. You can listen to the Spreecast recording here:

Are You a Leader?

Today, Saturday December 28th, Are You a Leader?

Ever heard someone complain of having a deadbeat sponsor? ever made that complaint yourself? They were/are the ones who never seem to answer when you have questions. Or are even available to receive your questions. Reaching them seems like pulling teeth?

That’s not YOU is it? If you want to be a leader, then you shouldn’t be the person described above. Marci went over some of the attributes of a leader, such as communicative, inspiring action, and being accountable for their referrals/subscribers. Come and have a listen for more details…

It’s Not You…It’s Your Ads

Today, Saturday December 14th, It’s Not You…It’s Your Ads

One of the most ppular mottos often heard in internet marketing is K.I.S.S.– Keep It Simple Stupid. Marci related a recent experience with her that drove that point home. Sometimes your best ad is the simplest one! Whether it’s a splash or squeeze page or a banner, often flashy animation or too much images can get in the way of results!

Also, the activity of your subscribers can be traced bck to your ads. Did you push nothing but free products and services? Wondering why that list of subscribers isn’t buying anything? hmmm. Make sure you’re not pushing JUST free free free if you want to get some income activity in your list. (Of course, your relationship counts toward that too.)

And don’t forget your mailings. The intent of your mails is to PRE-SELL, not SELL! Keep it simple there too. It’s not a sales page — that’s afterward. No promises, testimonials, examples, etc etc. etc. Just tease them to click to see the next page. (Give a listen to the recording for Marci’s great examples of this.)
