Who are You?

Today, Saturday May 10th, Who are You?

A site owner or an affiliate? Either way, people want to know who they are dealing with. They want to know how you will treat them. As an owner, they want to be able to find out your site’s reputation. As an affiliate, they want to be able to find out YOUR reputation.

Branding helps people see who you are. To know you’re a real person with their interest at heart. The way they start to gather that information is by being repeatedly exposed to you.

Branding is a constant exposure to you, whether an owner or affiliate. You as an owner are your site. You as an affiliate are your face and your name. That’s YOU. And repetition is their firsthand means of familiarity.

That branding takes a lot of marketing. That’s why Marci said “programs are easy to replace, you are not!” Come listen to the rest…

Traffic Exchanges and You

Today, Saturday May 3rd, Traffic Exchanges and You

You joined a traffic exchange. Now you’re promoting in it. How’s that working for you? Are you using the right kind of page to get signups — for an affiliate program or for your own list? Do you know what a splash page is? Do you know what a squeeze (or landing) page is? That will make a difference between your success and failure in traffic exchanges.

Are you also using the banner and text ads for your benefit? Any other special ads available to you in that traffic Exchange? Take a look around and see what’s available for your advertising there.

How much traffic are you earning at the exchange and how much to you need to effectively advertise there? Can you get enough without upgrading? Wanna know how to make it easier to get that traffic?

For all the golden nuggets and great tips…

What Kind of Leader are You?

Today, Saturday April 26th, What Kind of Leader are You?

We actually had this topic decided at the end of last week’s seminar. All program owners and affiliates need to be a leader for their businesses to be a success, whatever kind of leader they are.

We started off with a simple definition of a leader — A person who inspires others with a shared common cause or goal through their actions or words.

As a leader, do you keep your mind on “me, me, me” or on the “team, team, team”? To be an effective and inspiring leader you need to show that the team’s goal is yours. That you aren’t just out for yourself. If your team doesn’t see that you care about THEM then they won’t care for your “leadership”.

Want to hear what it takes for a leader to create a win-win environment? Then…

How’s Your Customer Service?

Today, Saturday April 19th, How’s Your Customer Service?

First and foremost rule of customer service: Treat your customer the way that you would like to be treated. If you wouldn’t want to be treated that way as a customer then don’t treat them like that! Listen to the recording for more details…

“But sometimes I just want to SCREAM!” People have bad days. Things go wrong. “If just one more thing goes wrong today I’m gonna let SOMEONE have it!” Who is the easiest person to jump on but a nameless faceless admin somewhere out there in cyberspace? How do you handle that? Listen to the recording for more details…

It’s not necessarily anybody’s job as a customer to be professional. It IS your job as a customer service REPRESENTATIVE of your business to be professional. That includes courtesy and respect.

Time Savers for Your Business

Today, Saturday April 12th, Time Savers for Your Business.

The first time saver Marci talked about is, of course, Affiliate Funnel! Affiliate Funnel is a great downline builder. Instead of promoting this exchange here and that mailer there, promote all of them in Affiliate Funnel with one splash/squeeze page or mail for Affiliate Funnel!

Her next major time saver was to track which of your referrals are action takers. Ideally, this means you are using an autoresponder and segmenting (in TrafficWave, chaining) your list so that, as they sign up for another program, they are transferred to a new “action taker” list. This will automatically keep track of your referrals and their activity for you.

Vital Viral Pro (VVP) was the next time saver mentioned. A good rotator is a godsend and add the branding and tracking in VVP and it’s a must-have for time savings. Having one location to change your splash and squeeze pages (and banners) for all the places where you are promoting is a HUGE time saver. And VVP also has a splash and squeeze page maker in it too!

Troy Wray was listening in and decided to take the camera and offer his experience and marketing tips too! Why not? He created Vital Viral Pro!

AF Crash Course

Today, Saturday April 5th, AF Crash Course.

Marci brought notes today. Are you starting with no cash and lots of time? Or some cash and some time? Well, she covered both scenarios… And also showed how Affiliate Funnel fits into all of it…

She started out from scratch, explaining how to decide which sites to surf, what pages to use, and what and how to promote the pages. This is the start that takes lots of time. However, at some point you start making commissions at the sites or with your own specific program(s).

Then you start making enough income to get yourself an autoresponder and start using the other pages. The pages that get people onto YOUR list. So you can build a relationship with your subscribers that convinces them that you are the one they’ll turn to for traffic sources and tools. This builds your income and traffic and helps them feel comfortable to set up and build their own list. And so on, and so on.

Listen to the recording for the sweet little details…

It All Starts With Hello

Today, Saturday March 29th, It All Starts With Hello

It does all start with “Hello” but what comes after that?

You want your list of subscribers to know, like, and trust you. So, guess what? It’s time to let them know who you are, what you do, and how you do it!

Whether it’s emails, videos, or socializing in skype, FaceBook, Twitter, etc., you need to get YOU to them. Your subscribers can’t relate to you if they don’t know you. Do they like your kind of personality? Have you built a reputation with them so they can trust you?

Check out the seminar for some ideas on the how-to…

Do Your Thank You Pages Suck?

Today, Saturday March 8th, Do Your Thank You Pages Suck?

Are you using a Thank You page after YOUR verification (confirmation) link for your autoresponder? You should be! It’s a great place to get sales and signups for other programs that you promote or own, depending on whether you are an affiliate or a site owner. Just make sure that the other program is relevant or similar to the one they just joined!

If you are a exchange or mailer owner, do you have a Thank you page after your One Time Offer(s)? Maybe that person who just took an upgrade would be interested in fattening up their credits or impressions to get a head start on their membership.

If you want to hear more of the juicy little details on how YOU can make your Thank You pages suck in more sales and signups (instead of just SUCK!) …

Then come and listen to the spreecast for the details…

Are You Over Thinking It?

Today, Saturday March 1st, Are You Over Thinking It?

Marci was the main inspiration for her own talk today. Just last Monday she did a “soft” launch of her new site Viral Commissions. It was done in literally a week or two. She read about a script, talked it over with a trusted friend, and decided to open a new membersip site. And in a short time later… POW, It’s live!

Compare that to her launch of Viral Commando Profits last year: She decided to create her first membership site. She went through basically the same process as now. BUT… spent about a year making sure every little detail was taken care of before she even dreamed of launching. Did she have some tweaks and improvements to make this past week? Sure! Did she have some tweaks and improvements to make last year? Sure!

So what was the major difference between the two launches. A lot of time between inception and launch. Bottom line? She lost a year of signups and upgrades/sales the first time ’round.

And her new site, Viral Commissions? After about 5 days, over 200 signups and plenty of upgrades/sales already!

If you want to hear some of her insightful ramblings and all the juicy little details on how YOU can avoid over thinking what you are doing or planning…

Then come and listen to the spreecast for the details…
