Optimizing Your Funnel

Today, Saturday, July 12th, Optimizing Your Funnel

PURPOSE – FOCUS – AUDIENCE – PRODUCTS

Determine the purpose of your funnel. Is it geared toward just traffic exchanges or exchanges and mailers or just mailers? Wherever you are growing your downlines is what you want to promote to your funnel. Then maintain your focus to promote products (traffic and tools) that help your audience within those sites.

If your audience (subscribers) only want and deal with traffic exchanges, then don’t add a tool for using mailers into that funnel. This is part of maintaining your focus on the purpose of that funnel. Some tools may apply to more than one funnel too. Don’t put ice in your funnel aimed at eskimos or sand in your funnel aimed at Saharan Nomads. lol

Bring It On! Open Session

Today, Saturday, July 5th, Bring It On! Open Session

Well I started things off. First on the list was how to clear your network problems! Since I spent most of the morning restoring my system and rebooting my PCs, modem, and router, I gave a rundown on how to reset your network. This is the first thing that your ISP provider will ask you to do if you have network problems.

Next Marci went over autoresponders and monetizing your email series. She also went over managing your traffic exchange memberships/upgrades. Both of these, from her own experience. She also covered a couple questions brought up during her discussion.

Organization: Your Key to Success

Today, Saturday, June 28th, Organization: Your Key to Success

PRIME DIRECTIVE: Evaluate how you spend your time!

Everyone has their own lifestyle. And each person has to figure out how to reach their own goals while staying within the time limit(s) that they have for their online business each day and each week. If you aren’t reaching those goals or staying within your own time limits, then something’s gotta change.

You can’t change what you don’t see. So evaluating how you’re spending your business time lets you see where all that time is going. Then changes can be made.

We all use basically the same business model. Each has their own variations, but it’s basically the same. Once we have our site or something to promote, then we need traffic and the result at the end: income.

Marci went over three (3) key tools for shaving chunks of time off of getting and managing traffic and reaching the final goal of income. (With lots of helpful tips and “golden nuggets” thrown in too.)

The Value of One Contact

Today, Saturday, June 21st, The Value of One Contact

So you have a list. How many subscribers do you have? Five thousand? Ten thousand? One hundred thousand!? Great, huh? That depends…

How many people on your list regularly open your emails, read them, follow through to your offer, and purchase or sign up for what you are offering.

The old standard is that you should be earning at least about one dollar for each person on your list. Are you making that? More? Less? What’s the QUALITY of your list compared to the QUANTITY of your list? That’s all determined by your relationship with your list.

Some people can make more money with a list of a hundred than some can with a list of thousands.

How Secure is Your Business?

Today, Saturday, June 14th, How Secure is Your Business?

Security is always a key issue when you consider how quickly your site, PC, blog, or Computer can be damaged or compromised and how much time, effort, and money can be lost with it.

The number One issue is always passwords. And the first rule is always DO NOT USE the same password everywhere! Once one location is compromised, hackers WILL try the easiest route and use that info at your other affiliate and/or membership sites. And the next issue is your password difficulty level. Never use immediate family members’ names of birthdays. (Or YOURS!) Or the same old 123456 or 121212 or any other simple passwords. That’s why hackers have sequencers and randomizer boxes!

Marci also brought up several security points about blogs and some plugins and products to use to secure them. Wordfence was one of the programs/plugins that was brought up.

And that’s not all so come give a listen and find out more…

Stand Out and Stand Tall

Today, Saturday, June 7th, Stand Out and Stand Tall!

What does that mean? Being on the internet to be a successful marketer you have to stand out. Your most basic tools to do that are your personality and your character. Are you humorous? Are you serious? Are you dependable? Are you reliable? What do YOU believe in and project? You are the candidate for your referrals. What’s YOUR platform?

To get these points across to your community and viewers, first they have to see you! That’s where your branding comes in — on your splash and squeeze pages. And In the social media where you interact with them. And in the email series in your auto responder when they signup under you. (That’s a great place to show who you are through your stories and anecdotes about you and your observances.)

Are You Spreading Yourself Too Thin?

Today, Saturday May 31st, Are You Spreading Yourself Too Thin?

Outsourcing — Who can afford it? Anyone! What you can’t make cash deals for (say, at Fiverr.com or with a trusted friend with skills you need) make trade deals for. BARTER!

Marci’s first big tip? Write your autoresponder email series to include promoting the products and sites that you’re already promoting everywhere. Let your autoresponder do some work for you!

Next, what are YOU good at? What services can you offer someone else in trade for their services. Need a splash page or two done? Know someone who’s good at it? Maybe they need some blog posts written, emails created, or maybe a video or two done. Got those skills and tools? Check around with your social friends and contacts and see what deals you can make.

If you have funds to invest in your business, then don’t forget to check with Exchange or site owners. Many are willing to offer bulk deals for credits. Or site owners may need some work done that you are good at. Maybe you can trade your services for a month or two of upgraded membership. It never hurts to ask — Unless you ask for everything for nothing! See what they are willing to offer.

So come listen to what you missed and find out how you can outsource some of your 48 hour a day work…

Solo Ads and Email Advertising

Today, Saturday May 24th, Solo Ads and Email Advertising

Marci first went over her own mini “Mailing Theme” recipe:

Start with three paragraphs. Add a little white space between them. Mix in some emphasis. NOT too much! Just use one or two styles. Like capitalized word(s) or bolded word(s). Use emphasis cautiously for an important adjective or call-to-action here and there. [Finish off with a Post Script to emphasize a call-to-action]. And serve, er… mail.

Then some great tips and golden nuggets were sprinkled liberally about for garnish.

So come listen to what you missed and pick up some pointers for YOUR mails…

Show Us Your Splash!

Today, Saturday May 17th, Show Us Your Splash!

We started the first hour with lots of Marcy’s tips and tidbits. Like watching the volume control if you use a video in your splash or squeeze page. Often people are way too loud when recording their videos. And they don’t check for the volume when they load the video — tsk tsk. That’s the biggest peeve of the listeners!

Graphics was another key topic. Some pages seem to bury you in images so much that it’s near impossible to find the button or link to click for more info on a splash page! Heavy use of graphics/images can also make the page take way too much time to load. It seems the more you market and test, the more you go for simpler pages to get results!

After the first hour, we critiqued several of the attendees’ pages. Everybody was eager for this part and it was fun trying to keep up with Marci here. 😀 After an hour of this, we finally took a break to give out prizes. And followed up with a few more tidbits.

Come listen to what you missed and pick up some pointers for YOUR pages…
