What do you think of when I say “Just Do It”? Or “The Real Thing”? Nike and Coca Cola, right?<\/p>\n

That’s corporate branding. What Marci covered today was all about personal branding in traffic exchanges and mailers\/safelists. (That could include forums, social media, etc. too.) <\/p>\n

Now, you could use a slogan for a site you own. Or a logo. But, how do people trust that site? Why, by knowing, liking, and trusting the owner!<\/p>\n

We had a very interesting discussion about that today. But, what people in the TE and mailer world want to connect with is other PEOPLE. There’s been a big increase of skepticism online and people want to know who they are dealing with.<\/p>\n
