First of all ask yourself: What am I selling and who am I selling it to?<\/p>\n
Maybe even ask yourself: Who doesn’t want it?<\/p>\n
Once you’ve answered those questions, then you can get a grasp on who your audience really is.<\/p>\n
Secondly, where is your audience? Geographically speaking! If your product or program is specifically available only to certain countries or regions, make sure your audience knows that – eliminate viewers by making sure they know if it’s only available to, say, the U.S. or U.S. and Canada.<\/p>\n
Now you can gear your advertising for them. But are they young? old? If your splash page or mail text is small then you’ve most likely just lost the older crowd.<\/p>\n
What font(s) should you use? What colors shouldn’t you use? For what audience? <\/p>\n
